DJ JVS
DJ JVS is an artist, a DJ and a producer who has been a staple name in Helsinki nightlife for several years. Feelings and psychedelia especially inspire them, and their performances are filled with inexplicable tension, mood swings and quirky details, true to the roots club experience filled with groove and trippiness.
DJ JVS is signed to the local label BELOW0, and last year, they released singles Rack City II (with Glayden) and solo track Velvet. Airy atmospheres, driving rhythms, and sometimes influences from old-school progressive trance and techno, mark DJ JVS’ productions.
DJ Aleksi
Playing high-octane sounds from moody house music to spicy trance, wild breaks to intensive percussive gems, DJ Aleksi is a music mastermind from Helsinki who knows how to get the room moving.
You can find DJ Aleksi at main music hotspots in Helsinki like Kaiku, Post Bar, and Siltanen, as well as from the underground. He’s a Kaiku resident, co-founder of the OO Recordings and Danny Wu Sound Community (DWSC). Aleksi also extends his views on music via two radio shows on NOODS and IDA Helsinki.
