Welcome to a gig at Korjaamo!

On this page you’ll find the technical information needed to organize your event. The venue info on this page is updated whenever we renew equipment or change the technical setups of our halls.

FAQ

Can we do load-out on the next day?

Generally, no. The next day there is either a new event starting, or Korjaamo is closed (on Sundays). There is also museum activity around Vaunusali, so load-out and logistics must be done outside the museum’s opening hours.

Can we leave equipment, instruments, décor or structures in storage at the venue?

As storage space is limited, this is usually not possible. Always agree on logistics separately with the producer. Please also note that there are no staff on site to open the doors on Sundays. We charge a recycling fee for décor or other single-use event materials left at Korjaamo.

Does the venue provide an in-ear monitor system for performers?

Unfortunately not, but you are welcome to bring your own. The venue info lists the technical equipment included in each of Korjaamo’s spaces. If needed, we can also rent additional equipment, which is charged separately. Please agree on any additional rentals with the producer in advance.

Does the venue provide a seller for the merch stand?

No, but we can book a seller by prior arrangement. This is billed by the hour, with a minimum charge of 4 hours.

Can we bring our own drinks backstage?

Korjaamo’s premises are a licensed area, so bringing and consuming your own alcoholic beverages on the premises is prohibited under alcohol legislation.

Load-in/load-out and parking

VAUNUSALI LOAD IN  ↰
From behind the building via Korjaamo’s parking lot, accessed from Eino Leinonkatu 3, OR for trucks, by prior arrangement via the city depot. Call the evening manager or technician and ask them to open the gate. We try to avoid load-in/load-out in the tram museum premises until 5 pm.

KULMASALI AND VINTTI LOAD IN  ↱
Load-in/load-out to Kulmasali and Vintti is via Korjaamo’s inner courtyard, between the Töölönkatu A and B buildings. Access to Töölönkatu from the Eino Leinonkatu side. The vehicle can be left on Töölönkatu for unloading, after which it must be moved. If there is no room on the street, try the Töölö Sports Hall parking lot.

PARKING AND DELIVERIES
Where possible, Korjaamo can arrange parking for one car, if there is space in the parking lot. Deliveries for Vaunusali are generally via the parking lot, outside the museum’s opening hours, in the mornings between 8–10 am.
